Our MD is technical which is a rare and exciting prospect for any budding 'techie' who will get to work with an experienced and innovative technical team right up to director level. From day one you can expect to be involved all aspects of the software development life cycle (business analysis, gathering user requirements, estimating, writing technical documentation, software development); and can expect to be involved in a variety of work spanning the development of new sites, new functionality on existing sites, integrating with third parties, launching new products, issue troubleshooting, analytics and more.

With many years of experience covering all aspects of web development, and a deep understanding of content management, ecommerce and travel technology, we carve our own niche.
We are passionate about the people that work for us and that is why we fully support our employees with further training and gaining industry recognised qualifications. We therefore offer a structured training and personal development programme that support a range of promotional paths; incorporating a mix of in-house and external training solutions, with subscriptions to some of the best online training and development facilities.
We value each one of our employees and firmly believe that you get out what you put in. This is why we set aside a budget specifically for training - although it is up to the individual to decide how much or how little they want to get out of our training - the only thing we do require is that (if not obtained already) our developers obtain certification as standard.
Over the past 12 months a number of our employees have gained qualifications in ITIL, MCPD, MCP and MCTS. This year further training is underway to obtain additional qualifications in MCSD: Web Applications, Testing and Digital Marketing.
Additionally we support attendance at industry focused events such as Microsoft Dev Camps, Windows Azure workshops and Marketing Week Live along with attendance at local industry networking sessions.
We are committed to having a fun but productive workplace and we believe that this is achieved through 'creative' working practices. We believe a little fun and games every now and again stimulates innovation and creative ways of thinking.
Our Friday kickbacks are where we discuss the cool things we have worked on during the week along or come across outside of the workplace all whilst having Friday beers (not if you have to drive home obviously - we are responsible employers!)
We celebrate Christmas as a family and encourage significant others to come along as part of the fun - after all we dedicate so much time to work, why not spoil our employees and those closest to them!

Here at Zolv we firmly believe that in order to have a productive organisation sometimes a little time out is required to take a step back and reflect. This is why every quarter we take a day out of the office to review our business plan, ongoing projects and have some time to do a little team bonding.
In July we use the quarterly as an opportunity to experience the joys of (an English) summer by going offsite for 1.5 days - this includes all of the official business of reviewing the past quarter's activities before having some late night fun and undertaking a team building challenge the following day. We offer a structured induction programme, it's a little different to what you would expect from other employers in that after a period of running through the basics we then allow you to work on real time client project work!
