The Opportunity

Transun wanted to update their 4-year-old web technology to introduce a device- responsive design with a user experience that would inspire and inform their customers. The introduction of an easy-to-use web marketing platform and CMS was also a key requirement, as was retaining and improving the web integration with Travelink.

Following an initial research stage involving extensive user testing and detailed scoping workshops, Zolv produced a list of key friction points and bottlenecks which were detrimental to the user experience, resulting in abandoned baskets.

The need to simplify Transun’s complex and confusing search functionality and book flow was identified as paramount to the success of their new website. The introduction of a blog area with the facility to highlight products, enrich product content and enhance the user experience was also essential in conveying their expertise in Arctic tours and experiences.

Building transun.co.uk on Zolv’s WTP enables non-technical personnel to fully manage their web presence. From page building and content editing, promotions and campaigns, to SEM, Personalisation and Targeted Offers, Transun are in control.

Transun can now interact with their customer online with much more ease and in many more ways.
