Zolv are delighted with the launch of a brand-new website for Transun, who are specialists in winter tours and experiences for over thirty years.
Transun asked Zolv to design and build an intuitive, responsive and user-friendly website which would take their customers on a journey; sparking their imaginations, encouraging them to explore further and providing a clear and concise user experience from discovery, to basket, to booking.
After extensive user testing and a deep-dive scoping workshop, a list of key friction points and bottlenecks, detrimental to the user experience and contributing to abandoned baskets, were identified.
Simplifying the complex and sometimes confusing search and booking journeys were considered key to the success of the website. The addition of a new, regularly updated blog, which is designed to highlight and promote key products, and the creation of richer product content is also expected to better convey Transun’s expertise in Arctic tours and experiences.
Zolv’s design team also focused on re-working the user experience. The introduction of full-width images and product cards help provide a clean presentation of content and clearer navigation, building user confidence through the booking journey.
