Woosh was an exciting new brand for APH to offer customers an extensive range of airport hotels, hotel and parking packages and airport parking at airports across the UK to help the independent traveller enjoy a hassle-free start to their holiday. Woosh customers can book airport hotels and have all the information any traveller needs to make their decision. These include parking options, distance to airport, maps and directions.

The Opportunity

APH approached Zolv to create a bespoke solution - integrating with the existing Chauntry reservation system and adding the ability to create and promote hotel and parking combinations.

APH were keen to develop and strengthen its business model; to promote hotel and parking packages, as well as individual components. A new website would play a central role in this new model and determine the feasibility of revamping the other APH web properties in the future, the new website needed to focus on packages - something that the existing website wasn't fulfilling to its maximum potential.

The Outcome

To provide the functionality and user experience that APH required, Zolv designed and build the brand-new website which provides complete flexibility, allowing customers to book their preferred option, be that simply parking, the hotel only, or a combination - on the outbound journey, return journey, or both.

The website used Zolv's Web Travel Platform, giving APH complete control over all the content and product. This allows them to take individual components and put them together instantaneously to create packages. With this functionality, APH can quickly change promotions and offers, update text and images and manage hotel and parking information within the product library. 'Was' and 'Now' prices are dynamically pulled in from the booking system and APH can even remove an entire airport from sale if necessary, and all the associated products will also be instantly removed.
