Following a project with Zolv to migrate their existing website from Comtec's Travelink reservation system to the Tigerbay system, Sunvil took the opportunity to embark on a major overhaul of the look, feel and functionality of their main website.
Having supported the previous website for 6 years, Zolv's Web Travel Platform (WTP) remained Sunvil’s system of choice to help them continue to scale the business. Being a powerful web administration system, we were quickly able to utilise WTP to include non-bookable product pricing online, making indicative prices available and integrating these products seamlessly with live bookable products in the search results. This enabled Sunvil to display itineraries in search results along with traditional package results from Tigerbay.

An inspirational search was introduced that allows an anywhere / anytime search. Sunvil’s reservation system, Tigerbay, supports only specific searches; so Zolv developed a solution by implementing an ElasticSearch cache. Importing all the live product into a single cache which could then be searched, and results are returned within milliseconds. Delivering a huge improvement in speed, the cache also means accurate prices can be included in the returned content; making the route from browse to book even easier.
