Zolv is a highly successful Software House specialising in web based software design and development for the Travel industry. Our core proprietary product is the Web Travel Platform (WTP) which is currently running 11 high traffic; high profile; revenue generating Travel websites, and our portfolio of clients on this platform is expanding.

Zolv is a fast growing software company, and needs bright, imaginative and enthusiastic people to join our team of Web Developers.

This is a fast paced industry, and no day is the same! We deal with a variety of challenges from a mixture of new and existing clients, and are committed to continuous investment in the development of our Product, and new ideas we can take to market.

Our MD is technical which is a rare and exciting prospect for a graduate who will get to work with an experienced and innovative technical team right up to Director level.  From day one you can expect to be involved in a variety of work spanning the development of new functionality, integrating with third party technology, launching new products, issue troubleshooting, analytics and more. 

Commercial experience is not essential.

We would also welcome applications from undergraduates from a computer science / software / web development discipline looking for part or full time work experience opportunities.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Take part in all aspects of the software development life cycle including business analysis, gathering user/client requirements, estimating, writing technical documentation, software development and testing, right through to release notes and release to live.
  • To carry out on-going client support and maintenance work on client  websites and product suites, including the resolution of bug reports and support calls
  • To deliver software enhancements to clients’ specifications
  • To ensure that all development and solutions are coded and tested in line with company standards
  • To become an expert user on our products, gaining an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses
  • To provide out of hours support cover as required by rota

Required Skills

Commercial Experience is not essential
Applicants MUST be eligible to work full time in the UK.
2.1 or above at degree level in a computer science, software engineering or related discipline
Live within 30 minutes of the office, or willing to relocate.
Willingness to gain Microsoft professional/technical qualifications with the support of the company
